FUNERALS

Memorial Services & Receptions

The United Methodist Service of Death and Resurrection and Service of Committal focus on the proclamation of the Christian hope in the resurrection of the dead and in Christ’s resurrection as pledge for that hope.

The death of a loved one can be an overwhelming time, and our clergy, staff, and bereavement volunteers are here to support and guide you through this transition and all the decisions that accompany it. Our traditional services include the liturgy and rites of the United Methodist Church, along with your preferred hymns and eulogies from the minister, family, and/or friends.

We also have space available to host a reception before or after the service.

Columbarium

We are fortunate to have a columbarium on the sacred grounds of our church. Ashes of loved ones are inurned in niches of the columbarium, which sits in our courtyard providing a quiet place to visit, remember, and pray.

Our first columbarium is fully pre-sold, but we will soon pour a foundation for a second. Contact Bob McKoon for more information about pre-purchasing a niche.

My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
