Sundays | 6:00pm - 7:45pm | Children's Wing

Resumes August 13

This is a Sunday Evening Program for students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. After we eat dinner, we explore the lessons of the Bible and how they apply to our lives through games and activities. We will meet on the Children’s floor from 6pm to 7:45pm  on the second floor of the main building. Children can be picked up in the Annex parking lot drive.

Acolytes

Ongoing

Our 4th-6th grade kids serve as our acolytes and crucifers during the 8:30 and 11:00 Traditional worship services. Throughout the year they may also assist in worship for other special services.

VOLUNTEERS (1).png

Children's Worship Volunteers

Each Sunday (except for Communion Sunday) we have a time for children to exit the regular Worship Service and attend a service just for them. Children 4 years old up to 2nd grade are greeted in the Narthex by volunteers and then accompanied to the Children's Wing of the church to hear a special lesson. Please consider volunteering your time to help during this service.

Safe Sanctuary Training

Jesus said, "Whoever welcomes [a] child ... welcomes me" (Matthew 18:5). Children are our present and our future, our hope, our  teachers, our inspiration. They are full participants in the life of the church and in the realm of God. God calls us to make our churches safe places, protecting children and other vulnerable persons from abuse. God calls us to create communities of faith where children and adults grow safe and strong. Safe Sanctuaries is our response to this church wide challenge.
