About the Event
What started as an event, became a movement. A strong community became even stronger!
In 2018, RiverLife started a community-wide event called #ServeCoweta. We gathered local volunteers from every sector - churches, businesses, civic groups and schools to flood our community with hope and help all in one day. This became a quarterly opportunity to be:

SERVING TOGETHER
MAKING A DIFFERENCE
On March 26, 2021, an EF4 tornado devastated our town. Immediately, the RiverLife team saw a need to connect people offering help and resources to those in crisis. #ServeCoweta became a platform to organize volunteers and resources for our community's tornado response.
As full recovery from the storm is in sight, we hope to keep the spirit of collaboration strong by continuing to connect volunteers to local opportunities year-round. Here you will find our nonprofit partners and how you might be able to serve their needs.
