Safe Sanctuary Training

Safe Sanctuaries is our required training for church volunteers to prevent abuse in our ministries. The training outlines abuse facts and statistics and prevention practices. It also outlines reporting practices in the instance of witnessed signs of abuse toward vulnerable populations. 

This training is available online, but 2x per year we offer an in-person training for folks to be certified. Every church volunteer who works with vulnerable populations (children, older adults, those with disabilities, and others) is required to complete this training every two years. 

Lunch will be provided to those who register by 1/20/25.
