About the Event
As part of this year’s Christmas Tour of Homes (Fri 12/6) hosted by Newnan Presbyterian School, the Newnan Coweta History Center is hosting a Historic Church Candlelight Tour in downtown Newnan the following evening on Saturday, December 7 from 5 to 8 pm. These are two cojoined fundraising events — one for the Newnan Presbyterian School and one for the Newnan-Coweta History Center!
Tour the historic churches of Newnan at dusk as they’ll be lit and awash in glowing candlelight and stunning Christmas decor. Hear docents tell about the history of the church and take away historic information on each church on the tour which to date includes Newnan Presbyterian Church, Newnan First Methodist, Central Baptist Church, Newnan Chapel United Methodist Church and First Baptist Church.
Live music and refreshments at some locations. More details to come.
