WHAT TO EXPECT
WHAT SERVICE SHOULD I ATTEND?
We offer a variety of unique worship experiences, and no matter which service you visit, our hope is that you feel welcomed and experience God's loving presence.
Love the organ and a traditional choir? Our Traditional Worship services (8:30 & 10:55 in the Sanctuary) have a more formal feel to them. Liturgies, choir anthems, traditional hymns, creed recitations...this service has many of the elements you would expect in a more ritualistic, "high church" service. However, this service is definitely family-friendly, and we encourage our young ones to participate and learn to love worshiping in this manner.
Love the sound of a praise band? Our Connect Contemporary Worship service (11:00 in the Parish Hall) has a more casual feel. Contemporary praise songs, stage lights, screens, and a more upbeat atmosphere...this service still has roots in United Methodism, but with a more modern approach. We love having kids join our service--dance time!--so they can get out those wiggles.
No matter how you choose to worship, we are excited you've come to do so with us! We encourage everyone to try out our different worship services to see what feels right.
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
You should park depending on which service you plan to attend!
If you're going to Sunday School before or after worship, many classes are in the Annex Building, so park in that lot. It will get you to the main building where the other classes are held.
For Traditional, you can access the Sanctuary from the front of the building (the spaces along Greenville St.) or either parking lot (Annex Building or Parish Hall).
For Connect, either the spaces along Greenville St. or the lot between the Parish Hall and Sanctuary.
As we are a downtown church and space is limited on Sundays due to services at other nearby churches, please be prepared to walk a little (not far!), or arrive early enough to get a space. All downtown public parking is fair game, but we ask that you not take spaces that are specifically owned by other churches.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We want you to feel comfortable. Many people come to worship in "business casual" clothes, while others dress in jeans. It is good to worship God together - we want you to be more focused on the worship service than what you’re wearing. We think you’ll fit in, no matter how you dress.
WHERE DO I TAKE MY CHILDREN?
First of all, ALL children are welcome to attend any of our services with their parents. We feel that it's important to expose children to corporate worship from a young age so they'll grow to love it just like we all do!
Children from infant to age 3 are welcome in our nursery located in the bottom floor of the Parish Hall. The nursery runs all morning so you can attend Sunday School and the worship service of your choice knowing they're safe and happy. Please set up a free KidCheck account before attending so sign-in is quick and easy.
Kids age 4 thru 2nd grade are encouraged to attend worship with their parents for the first half of the service. At a certain point in both 10:55 Traditional and 11:00 Connect, these kids will be dismissed to go to Children's Worship which is a special service just for kids in this age range. They will be escorted to Room 211 in the main building where they can be picked up after worship.
3rd grade (and older) children are invited to stay in service and worship alongside their families.
