CANCER CARE TEAM

At Newnan First United Methodist Church, we offer spiritual support to cancer patients and their families through the Our Journey of Hope® Cancer Care Ministry. Our Journey of Hope is a spiritual outreach program sponsored by Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA). This Cancer Care Ministry is here to provide hope, encouragement, and compassion to cancer patients and their families. Cancer Care Ministers work with both patients and their families to identify opportunities where we can minister to those undergoing treatment in a variety of ways including:

  • Prayer Services

  • Friendship

  • Providing meals

  • Attending medical visits

  • Assisting with daily chores

  • Running errands

If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with cancer or is currently undergoing treatment, please contact the church office (770.253.7400) or one of our Cancer Care leaders to begin your journey of hope.
