The United Methodist Men is an organization dedicated to men's ministry in the Newnan First United Methodist Church.  There are currently some forty members of the group who regularly participate.

The UMM meet regularly for fellowship on the fourth Tuesday evening of every month at the Sprayberry's Restaurant, located on Jackson Street (GA HWY 29N.)  The meetings are at 7 p.m., normally last 1-2 hours, and consists of a fellowship time, a business session and a program.

In 2004, the UMM organized its first golf tournament.  Deemed a success, this has now become an annual event every April.  We also sponsor an annual fundraising auction and barbeque each first Saturday of November.  All funds raised through the group's efforts are distributed to local and global missions and community activities that the UMM membership designates.

Men of all ages in our church are encouraged to join the fellowship of the UMM and any of the activities that may provide an avenue of service to the church.
