ONE GREAT DAY OF SERVICE

More than 35 members of Newnan First United Methodist Church joined forces on Saturday, April 30th to work in the community fulfilling needs of local residents and organizations. Seven teams spread out in various areas of the county to repair a roof, build a wheelchair ramp, trim bushes, mow grass and remove trees, tear down worn out fencing, do minor home repairs, pressure wash and paint, and spruce up a playground. Local residents benefited from the labors of the teams, but in addition, Community Welcome House and Bridging the Gap organizations saw some improvements at their facilities.
