February 14 Job Network Meeting:

For our February Job Network Meeting, Mr. Bruce Maloy, a director with the Meriwether County Chamber of Commerce, will be our feather speaker.  Mr. Maloy is to update us on new companies coming to Meriwether County, plus discuss any prospective job opportunities he is aware of in the county.  A recent press release highlighted Mando, a new KIA automotive parts supplier, who begins moving into Meriwether County this year.  Bruce, Rhonda and their sons are members of Newnan FUMC.

After Bruce's update, Peter Ludlow from Newnan Career Center will update us on other job opportunities in our community and introduce any other companies present.

Following these presentations, you will have an opportunity to meet and network with our guests and other job seekers in our community.  Come prepared to share your resume and latest employment information.

Our meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 6 PM in the Parish Hall at 33 Greenville Street, Newnan, GA.

All are welcome and this event is free.

The Job Network Ministry of Newnan’s First United Methodist Church was formed to serve the unemployed and under-employed in our community. 

Our Vision is to create an all-inclusive Job Networking Ministry for our community by providing support, guidance, and opportunities for those unemployed, under-employed and their families.

Our Mission is to provide help, encouragement, mentoring for those seeking new opportunities and to challenge them to consider their spiritual needs and family relationships during this emotional time.
