It is our tradition at Newnan FUMC to go through confirmation and then join the church as a 6th graders.  This is a nine month commitment for our 6th graders, their parents, our staff and the volunteers who help lead the class. 

Classes begin each September, and are held on Sunday evenings from 6-8 p.m.  Students join the youth group for snack supper ($4) at 6:00, then they break away for confirmation class from 6:30-8:00.  Students are expected to be at 80% of the classes. 

Confirmation Sunday is in April each year.
